Canny is built so there is almost nothing to say here — and that's the point. Your money is your business, and it stays on your phone.
The short version: Canny does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. There is no account, no cloud, no analytics, and no third-party trackers. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Nothing. Canny has no user accounts and no servers of its own. The budget information you enter — transactions, categories, goals, balances — is stored only in your phone's local app storage. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Unlike many budgeting apps, Canny never asks for your online banking login and never connects to your bank or any financial data provider. You type in what you spend; nothing is pulled in automatically.
Canny contains no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no social or tracking libraries. Because the app transmits nothing, there is no third party to receive your data.
Because your data never leaves your device, there is no server-side copy for us to hold, lose, or be asked to delete.
Canny is a general-audience budgeting tool and is not directed at children. As it collects no data, it collects none from anyone, regardless of age.
